Images from Marrakech, Todra Gorge, Aït Benhaddou, and the Saharan Desert. where the warm orange of Marrakech’s walls echoes the sands of the Sahara, and the warmth of the people stays with you long after you leave.

Five days in Morocco, which wasn't nearly enough.

We arrived in Marrakech, where the markets are a beautiful kind of chaos. Narrow streets confined by orange walls with spice and noise, somehow overwhelming and mesmerizing at once.

From there we headed toward the desert, passing quiet villages, enormous canyons, and the ancient city of Aït Benhaddou along the way.

We reached the desert by camelback just in time to watch the sun go down, and stayed through the night to watch it come back up.
